Uneek Poultry's Egg Candler with UV Light is a new product we have developed that has 3 color lights.

- 365nm UV-A
The White and Yellow Color Lights both work great on different shell colors to give you better candling results.
Made from Aluminium and fitted with a Steel head, it has been designed to last.
Why use 365nm UV?
A Little known fact is that the 365nm Wavelenth can be used to quickly assess the freshness of an egg.
The egg will fluoresce a pink or red color when the 365nm light is used.
The brighter the color (Floresce) the fresher the egg.
365nm Wavelength is also extremely useful for inspecting the egg for cracks, shell quality or bacteria.
We have been a amazed and a little shocked during testing with the extra things you see with this light that you would never see under a standard light.
365nm UV light is in the UV-A Spectrum and is not in the Visible Light Spectrum.
When it is shined on an object, what we see is the result of the 365nm on the surface.
Objects like Egg Shells, Bacteria, mould, urine etc will glow under this frequency making them easily identifiable.
NOTE: Don't be tricked by not being able to see it easily by the naked eye.
It is strongly recommended not to look directly in the torch when the 365nm is on.
Misuse of this torch has the potential to damage your eyes.
Children must be supervised by an adult if using this torch.
Using the Candling Torch
To Change colors simply turn the Torch off and on again, each on and off click will cycle the torch through its different colors.
