Built for Hatching Success
The 380 is built for multistage incubation, where fresh trays of eggs go in on the top shelf each week and move down a shelf at a time before hatching in the large covered hatching trays at the base. It can also be run single-stage with optional hatching cover sets. Multiple small fans move air in laminar flow around the chamber, which distributes heat far more evenly than one large fan, and combined with the heavily insulated cabinet it holds temperature consistently right through the egg space.
What the Connect adds is peace of mind away from the shed. Built-in Wi-Fi links the cabinet to the free Brinsea Connect app for Apple and Android, which mirrors every function on the control panel. You can view and change temperature, humidity, turning and cooling in real time from anywhere, and you get an immediate alert if anything drifts out of range or the power fails. If your internet drops out the incubator carries on exactly as normal - the eggs are never at risk.

The OvaEasy 380 arrives with its universal trays, hatching trays and humidity pump, so nothing extra is needed to run it. What breeders do add is a good candler to pull clears early and free up tray space, and an independently calibrated thermometer to check the cabinet against.

The OvaEasy 380 EX Connect Series III is the cabinet for breeders running serious numbers. It takes 216 hen eggs across its tilting shelves plus 96 more in the hatching trays at the base, holds humidity automatically, and reports to the Brinsea Connect app on your phone.
Series III is a genuine change rather than a facelift. The shelves and brackets lift straight out for hassle-free deep cleaning between batches, there is bright internal LED lighting, the digital display is back-lit, and the whole machine talks to the app.

Performance and ease of use
Multiple small fans blowing air in laminar flow around the egg chamber give far better temperature distribution than a single large fan. Combined with the laminated high-density polystyrene insulation, temperature is held evenly right through the chamber, which is what produces consistent hatch rates batch after batch.
Eggs are held in removable trays. The six universal trays supplied have adjustable dividers and take a wide range of egg sizes from quail through to goose, at some cost to maximum capacity. Optional species-specific trays lift capacity where you are running one species in volume. A single button press levels the shelves for access.
