Capacity by Species

Built for Hatching Success
The 190 is built for multistage incubation, where fresh trays of eggs go in on the top shelf each week and move down a shelf at a time before hatching in the large covered hatching tray at the base. It can also be run single-stage with optional hatching cover sets. Multiple small fans move air in laminar flow around the chamber, which distributes heat far more evenly than one large fan, and combined with the heavily insulated cabinet it holds temperature consistently right through the egg space.
Humidity is fully automatic on the EX. An integral pump draws from the supplied water bottle and holds the level you set, which takes the biggest variable out of a hatch - particularly in the last few days. If you would also like to monitor and change settings from your phone, the OvaEasy 190 EX Connect Series III adds built-in Wi-Fi and the free Brinsea Connect app.

The OvaEasy 190 EX Series III is the cabinet most serious breeders settle on. It takes 108 hen eggs across three tilting shelves plus 48 more in the hatching tray at the base, and holds humidity automatically through the integral pump.
Series III is a genuine change rather than a facelift. The shelves and brackets lift straight out for hassle-free deep cleaning between batches, there is bright internal LED lighting, and the digital display is back-lit.

Performance and ease of use
Multiple small fans blowing air in laminar flow around the egg chamber give far better temperature distribution than a single large fan. Combined with the laminated high-density polystyrene insulation, temperature is held evenly right through the chamber, which is what produces consistent hatch rates batch after batch.
Eggs are held in removable trays. The three universal trays supplied have adjustable dividers and take a wide range of egg sizes from quail through to goose, at some cost to maximum capacity. Optional species-specific trays lift capacity where you are running one species in volume. A single button press levels the shelves for access.
