Turning on the Maxi 48 EX is switched on and off manually, so remember to turn it off two days before hatching. Turning intervals go down to 5 minutes, which suits parrot eggs. The Maxi 48 EX takes the 48 egg Maxi platform and adds fully automatic humidity control with an integral humidity pump, so the incubator holds the humidity you set instead of leaving it to you and the weather.
