How to Use It
The Janoel 60 comes set up and programmed ready to hatch. It actively regulates the heating element to maintain a stable incubation temperature. The factory temperature setting is suitable for chicken eggs (38°C), and can be adjusted if you’re incubating other poultry varieties.
Humidity is managed by adding water to the channels in the base of the incubator. These channels can be topped up through the external filling holes, helping you maintain humidity without repeatedly lifting the lid and disrupting internal conditions.
Because this model is manual turn, many customers choose to use it as a dedicated hatching incubator. Eggs are moved into the Janoel 60 at lockdown (when turning is no longer required) and chicks hatch inside where they can be monitored through the viewing window.
After the Hatch
Cleaning is straightforward thanks to the sturdy design. The base and hatching tray can be removed easily for cleaning after each hatch.
