How to tell it's time to replace
Silicone tubing looks fine for a long time and then quietly stops doing its job. Swap it when you see any of these:
How to fit it

1Unplug the incubator or brooder and empty the water container.

2Pull the old tubing off the pump barbs and any fittings (a small wiggle helps).

3Cut the new tubing to the same length as the piece you removed.

4Push the new tubing firmly onto each barb until fully seated.

5Refill and prime — run the pump for a minute with the tray removed to prime the line and check for leaks.
