It is the most complete tabletop incubator Brinsea make. All four quadrant sets are included, so you can run hen, duck, quail or goose eggs, or mix sizes in the same machine. Humidity is held automatically from 20% to 80% RH by the integral peristaltic pump drawing from an external reservoir, and turning runs from 5 to 180 minute intervals with an AUTO mode that stops turning two days before hatching.
What the Connect adds is peace of mind away from the bench. Built-in Wi-Fi links the incubator to the free Brinsea Connect app, so you can check and change temperature, humidity, turning and cooling from your phone, see a count down to hatch, and get an immediate notification if any alarm is triggered or the power fails. If you are away from the shed for a day, the app tells you the moment anything moves outside the range you have set - and if your internet drops out the incubator carries on exactly as normal.

The Maxi 48 EX Connect is the app controlled version of the Maxi 48 EX. You get the same 48 egg capacity, fully automatic turning and automatic humidity control, plus the ability to watch and adjust your hatch from your phone wherever you happen to be.
