Coccidiosis can move fast through a flock — and catching it early (or preventing it altogether) makes all the difference. Vetsense Cocciprol is a water-soluble powder that's simple to mix into your birds' daily drinking water, giving you a reliable way to both prevent and treat this common but serious condition.

What It Treats
Suitable for chickens (broilers, broiler breeders and replacement pullets), turkeys, ducks and pigeons.
Targets the economically important strains of coccidiosis:
- Eimeria tenella
- Eimeria necatrix
- Most strains of Eimeria acervulina

Using the teaspoon provided: 1 level tsp = 3g | 1 rounded tsp = 5g
Prevention Dose

Administer for 24 hours every fourth day during periods of likely infection. This interrupts the coccidia life cycle and helps your birds develop their own immunity.

Administer continuously for 5–7 days.

Follow Stage 1 with a further 5–7 days at this reduced dose. Stepping down gradually helps birds build immunity while still providing protection.
How to Mix
Pre-mix the required amount into half a litre of water first until fully dissolved, then top up to the full required volume.
Example: Dissolve 5g in 500ml of water, then add 3.5L more to reach the 4L working solution.
Prepare a fresh solution daily.
Important Warnings
- Do not administer B-group vitamins while treating with Cocciprol — Amprolium works by blocking thiamine (B1) uptake in coccidia, and supplementing B vitamins will reduce its effectiveness.
- Continual overdosing can cause birds to lose muscle condition and strength. Signs include twisted necks and lameness — if you notice these, discontinue use immediately.
- Follow the step-down treatment schedule rather than stopping abruptly, to support immunity development.
